STUDY: The Ant and the Grasshopper

I’ve made a storyboard based on this famous fable The Ant and the Grasshopper:

It was once a grasshopper who lived skipping and singing in the woods, without worrying about the future. Bumping a little ant, carrying a heavy leaf, he asked:
– Hey, little ant, so that all this work? Summer is for people to enjoy! Summer is for us to have fun!
– No, no, no! We ants do not have time for fun. We must work now to store food for the winter.

For grasshopper, what mattered was to enjoy life, and enjoy today without thinking about tomorrow. To build a shelter? To store food? Waste of time.
One day winter came, and the grasshopper began shivering cold. He felt his body cold and had nothing to eat. Desperate, he went to the ant’s house.

The ant pulled him inside and said to the grasshopper: – In the world of ants, here everybody works and if you want to stay with us, do your duty: play and sing for us.
And that was the happiest winter of their lives.
